Count me in: Electoral Roll Registrations continue to rise ahead of 2020 General Election

Monday 27 January 2020

Since the Electoral Roll opened at the beginning of December 2019, around 5,970 Islanders have registered online.

The election team have also received a further 7,580 paper forms that are currently being processed. Paper forms often include the name of more than one member of a household and for this reason it is estimated that once all the forms already received are processed, the overall number of registrations will be more than 20,000.

In total, the number of registrations that have been processed so far is 11,000 and the election team is continuing to work through the high number of paper submissions.

Anyone who has not yet registered has until the 30th April to do so, and the process of signing up online is quick and easy, and can be done at election2020.gg.
