The Scrutiny Management Committee (SMC) is holding a public hearing with representatives of the new Policy & Resources Committee which will mainly focus on the Government Work Plan.
The public hearing will be held in Room 6 at the Royal Court, between 10:00 and 12:00 hours on Friday 23rd April 2021.
The SMC Panel will include Deputy Yvonne Burford (Chair), Deputy John Dyke and Deputy Peter Roffey.
This is a formal parliamentary proceeding. Members of the public are very welcome to attend in an observational capacity but will not be able to ask questions or make any comments whilst the hearing is in progress.
The President of the Scrutiny Management Committee, Deputy Yvonne Burford, commented:
"This public hearing with the Policy & Resources Committee will focus principally on the Government Work Plan, including the process used to arrive at stage 1 of the Plan. It will seek to provide clarity around how future decisions will be made concerning the workstreams to be undertaken this term.
The Panel welcomes this opportunity to publicly examine the progress made to date and we will seek to establish additional information regarding this important document."
