The first prize in this year's Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has now risen to £565,000.
It will continue to rise until the day of the draw, and with a week still to go the top prize could still reach last year's bumper jackpot of £696,740.
Sixty-six other winning ticket numbers will also be drawn on the night, for prizes from £500 up to £50,000.
The proceeds from the Christmas draw will go to charities and other worthy causes throughout the Channel Islands.
Jon Taylor, Senior Lottery Officer for the States Trading Group, who operate the Lottery in Guernsey, said:
"Sales were very strong last weekend, and with the draw still a week away we are getting closer and closer to last year's first prize of nearly £700,00. There are also lots of other prizes to be won, so there should be plenty of happy islanders this Christmas."
The draw will take place shortly after 6pm on Thursday 23 December.
