Our travel strategy continues to support access to the hospital site
Parking availability at the hospital is tight, and it will be squeezed further when construction gets underway. We are always encouraging staff to seek alternatives to driving to work to save parking for service users.
To support cyclists, new covered shelters and cycle hoops have been installed outside the Le Vauquiedor entrance, alongside a doubling of the cycle parking capacity outside the Emergency Department and reinstatement of cycle hoops at the Oberlands.
Discussions are also ongoing with CT Plus to improve services passing the hospital. Further initiatives to encourage cycling and walking to work are also in the pipeline.
