The total number of people unemployed in Guernsey fell to 272 at the end of June 2022, a reduction of 12 from the previous month and the lowest level of unemployment since August 2018.
The number of people who were in work and claiming additional financial support was 295, an increase of six from the previous month.
The Job Centre promoted 475 jobs in June, a reduction of 175 from the previous month.
A number of training schemes and placements were run through the Job Centre to support people into employment. At the end of June there were 52 people on training schemes such as Work to Benefit, Kickstart and placements with the third sector.
The number of new claims for employment and income-related benefits increased slightly, with 22 new claims made, compared with 21 in the previous month.
