Work to re-surface the children's playground at Beau Sejour will begin on Monday 25th July with the work scheduled to be completed by Friday 5th August.
Work to re-surface the children's playground at Beau Sejour will begin on Monday 25th July with the work scheduled to be completed by Friday 5th August.
The work to the playground will ensure that all areas are maintained to a safe standard as well as looking tidier and visually more appealing for young children as a new coloured flex will be added to the new wetpour surface.
Sam Herridge, Head of Recreation Services recognised "whilst it isn't ideal to undertake the work during the school summer holidays, the opportunity is being taken to combine these works with repairs to surfacing at Vauvert School which will ensure the two projects can be completed with considerable savings in travel and other related costs".
Works are expected to be completed on Friday 5th August, with all playgrounds at Beau Sejour scheduled to re-open to the public on Saturday 6th August.
