Seasonal speed limit, parking zone and other changes

Road users are being reminded that with effect from 1st October 2022 there will be various changes to speed limits, traffic flow and parking arrangements as follows:


Speed limits
 

Vazon

From the Loophole Tower (opposite La Rocquette Road) to Fort Houmet access road - Changes from 25mph to 35mph on the 1st October 2022 and will remain in place until 31st May 2023 (inclusive).

Route De la Lague

Route De Rocquaine

From Imperial Hotel to La Route du Coudre - Changes from 25mph to 35mph on the 1st October 2022 and will remain in place until 31st May 2023 (inclusive).

 


Traffic flow
 

Petit Bot Road

La Rue des Pages

The summer one-way restriction between the hours of 10am & 7pm is removed from 1st October 2022 and two-way access will remain in place until 31st May 2023 (inclusive).

 


Parking changes
 

South Esplanade

21 parking spaces on the landward side of the road opposite Credit Suisse will change from 2-hour parking to 10-hour parking on the 1st October 2022 and will remain in place until 30th April 2023 (inclusive).

La Valette

The first approximately 10 parking spaces nearest the Horseshoe Bathing Pool on the seaward side of the road between Horseshoe Pool and the Ladies Bathing Pool will change from 2-hour parking to 10-hour parking on the 1st October 2022 and will remain in place until 30th April 2023 (inclusive). The section of approximately 10 spaces on the southern end from the Ladies Bathing Pool will remain as 2-hour parking to allow for increased activity at the Bathing Pools.
