Both Law Officers are appointed by the Crown

H.M. Procureur (Attorney General) & H.M. Receiver General

Megan M.E. Pullum, QC, LL.B., LL.M.  Educated at the Hertfordshire and Essex High School for Girls; University of Wales College of Cardiff; Université de Nantes, France; University of Glamorgan; the College of Law, York; and the Université de Caen, France.  Called as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of England and Wales, 1996 and to the Guernsey Bar, 2006. Appointed Queen's Counsel 2012.

Government Legal Service trainee, qualified with the Welsh Office, Cardiff, with a spell specialising in EU law in private practice, Brussels, then re-located to Whitehall; Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, subsequently Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; Also freelance lecturer (employment law) for BPP Law School, London.  Came to Guernsey in 2002 as a litigator for a local firm, subsequently appointed as Legislative Draftsman for the Law Officers. Appointed a Crown Advocate in 2008; a Director in 2011; and as HM Comptroller (Solicitor General) and HM Deputy Receiver General for Guernsey in 2012.  Appointed HM Procureur (Attorney General) and HM Receiver General for Guernsey in 2016. 

H.M. Comptroller (Solicitor General) & H.M. Deputy Receiver General

Robert Titterington, QC. Educated at Manchester Grammar School, University of Leeds, College of Law, Chester and Université de Caen, France.  Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1983.  Called to the Guernsey Bar, 2004.  Appointed as a Deputy Judge of Guernsey's Magistrates' Court (2012 to 2016).  Appointed Notary Public for the Bailiwick, 2015.  Appointed Queen's Counsel, 2016.

Following admission practised in England in private practice and industry.  In 1988 appointed as Crown Counsel in the Chambers of the Falkland Islands Attorney General from where he practised law and provided legal advice to the governments of the Falkland Islands and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.  In 2000 moved to Guernsey to take up appointment as a Legislative Draftsman in the Law Officers Chambers.  Appointed as a Crown Advocate and Director of Legislative Drafting in 2005 and as H.M. Comptroller (Solicitor General) and H.M. Deputy Receiver General for Guernsey in 2016.
