Consumer Advice

Trading Standards provides a free, impartial and confidential consumer advice line on (01481) 234567. Alternatively you can email tradingstandards@gov.gg or visit us at Raymond Falla House, Longue Rue, St Martin's (please call beforehand to make sure someone is available to speak to you). We can advise on what action to take if you have concerns about a product or service you have paid for as well as hear concerns about unfair business practices such as misleading pricing, advertising and contract terms. We will follow our Service Standards when dealing with any customers, whether they are a business or a consumer. A copy of the Service Standards is available by following this link.

If you are a business requiring advice, verification or another service from us then please visit our business page.

Opening Times

Please call between 9am and 4pm. If we are not available then please leave a message and we will get back to you. Emails will be replied to with two days. If you wish to visit in person then please call ahead to ensure someone is available.
