Essential rock stabilisation works to allow the reopening of the Petit Port steps will be commencing on 14th June.
The eight-week project will involve the removal of some of the rocks caught by the existing fencing and the installation of a secondary fence on the rock catch area to prevent further rockfalls reaching the pathway.
Once these works have been completed and access by steps is deemed safe, the steps will be reopened.
This work is being carried out in addition to an ongoing programme of works to maintain both our natural and manmade coastal infrastructure.
