The main purpose of the post will be to provide a high quality research based casework service to service users. The post holder will be based in the Integrated Adult Community Care Team. You will provide consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working within the integrated services to deliver person centred care and support. You will also provide training, consultation and supervision as delegated by the Senior Practitioner for less experienced social workers, support workers and student social workers. We are looking for two Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners to join our team. As part of the Positive Behaviour Support Team, the PBS Practitioners will work alongside both children and adults with learning disabilities in a variety of community based setting. The PBS Practitioner is responsible for conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support plans, and supporting families and staff teams to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions. Newly (or soon to be) Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) are encouraged to apply. Supervision by an experienced BCBA is available as part of this post.
