For the Island Games cycling road race on Wednesday 12th July, there will be a few parking suspensions in place in the south-west of the island.
In addition to the road closures published by the Island Games Organising Committee for the event, all parking will be suspended:
- on Rue de Longfrie from 7am-5pm
- on Route de la Lague from 7am-3pm
- by the monument next to St Peter's church from 7am-5pm
There will be signs at the locations where parking is suspended. Any vehicles left in suspended parking areas will need to be removed at the owner's expense.
Those who are driving are reminded that in the closed roads no vehicular access (including bicycles) will be permitted whilst events are taking place, not even to access or egress properties, businesses or parking areas. The only exception will be for emergency vehicles.
