Procurement Portal and Tendering for Contracts with the States

Value for money is the over-riding factor that determines all public sector procurement decisions.

Our Procurement Team work to ensure that we consider overall value, including economic, environmental and social value, when reviewing service provision. Under the 2014 Procurement Policy this translates into assessing the best overall outcome for 'Guernsey plc' as a whole when conducting a tender exercise.

If you are interested in supplying the States of Guernsey with goods or services, please register on the online tender portal to receive automatic notifications when relevant tenders are published.  Companies are also encouraged to increase awareness of what they can offer by approaching the service areas most likely to have a requirement for their goods or services.

For more information please download the Procurement Policy for the States of Guernsey and the States of Alderney (2014).

  • Standard terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services.

    • Our standard terms and conditions support us in securing value for money when buying goods and services.  They ensure that items meet specified quantity, time, price and quality levels.  They also give suppliers clear information about their responsibilities and rights when dealing with the States of Guernsey.
    • The full Standard terms and conditions for the supply of goods and services document can be downloaded from this page.
