During March and April, rock armouring will be placed along several sections of the wall at L'Ancresse to provide the deteriorating structure with additional protection.
The works, which are due to commence in the first week of March, will last for approximately eight weeks. This follows works carried out last year to address a breach in the wall, which saw concrete poured to fill the voids caused by the breach.
This work is being carried out in accordance with the current management approach for the L'Ancresse East anti-tank wall which was agreed by the States.
Signs remain in place to warn people not to walk or climb over the wall and Islanders are asked not to climb on the rock armouring.
Those who may be impacted by these works have been notified ahead of the work commencing.
