Information for Contractors working on States Houses
We rely on private contractors to carry out maintenance on our properties.

The contractor is expected to be aware of and abide by any applicable Laws and Regulations to the works/services being provided and any amendments or re-enactments to any regulations, codes or requirements.
All contractors must comply with the latest Laws, Regulations, Framework Agreement/Contract and our Asbestos Management Plan. Housing's Framework Agreement and Asbestos Management Plan can be downloaded on this page.
The larger projects are usually tendered via the States of Guernsey procurement portal Supply Guernsey.
You must be on the Gas Safe Register to carry out gas work.
All electrical contractors that we use are now required to be members of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) or the National Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).
