The Oberlands Centre

The Adult Mental Health Service, based at the Oberlands Centre, provides an assessment, intervention, treatment and support service to people with mental health problems within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

Oberlands Entrance

The service addresses the mental health needs of adults, aged 18 and over with moderate to severe mental health problems.  The service has an internal agreement with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) where young adults may be referred following a detailed CAMHS assessment.

  • Our Service

    • Our service aims to offer specialist assessment and interventions based on a person centred approach using a bio-psycho-social model for responding appropriately to an individual's clinical need and mental distress. Our aim is for the right person or service to deliver the right interventions in the least restrictive environment in a manner that is enabling and which promotes independence and recovery.
    • The service operates within a framework of core values which aim to:
      • Welcome you
      • Hear you
      • Focus on recovery
      • Work with you
