Why should I take the survey?
It matters! Your views and experiences are important — we want to hear from you. Your responses represent you and people like you living in our islands. They will help us plan and improve health services and your environment to better meet your needs.
If you require the survey in a different format e.g. large print, easy read version or a different language, please contact us on health.survey@gov.gg or 01481224136.
The survey covers a wide breadth of topics relating to health. These include:
- General health
- Caring responsibilities
- Food and diet
- Physical activity and active travel
- Leisure time
- Wellbeing and life satisfaction
- Stress
- Loneliness / isolation
- Community Cohesion
- Alcohol
- Smoking and e-cigarettes
- Cannabis & illegal drug use
- Gambling
- Sun behaviour / awareness
- Attitudes to health and health information
- Use of health services
- Financial / housing issues and insurance
The survey is confidential. Information you give us will be treated in the strictest confidence. No individual identifiable data will be shared with any other States service areas and no attempt will be made to link your responses back to your household. If you have a survey reference number, it does not identify you, it is used so we can reduce our paper use by not sending reminders to those who have completed the survey online.
