This is the most recent survey in a series of wellbeing and lifestyle surveys that have been carried out regularly since 1988. You can find the results from the 2018 Wellbeing Survey and earlier lifestyle surveys below.
The 2023 survey was for residents in Guernsey, Alderney, Herm and Jethou aged 16 or over.
The survey covers a wide breadth of topics relating to health. These include:
- General health
- Caring responsibilities
- Food and diet
- Physical activity and active travel
- Leisure time
- Wellbeing and life satisfaction
- Stress
- Loneliness / isolation
- Community Cohesion
- Alcohol
- Smoking and e-cigarettes
- Cannabis & illegal drug use
- Gambling
- Sun behaviour / awareness
- Attitudes to health and health information
- Use of health services
- Financial / housing issues and insurance
The results for the 2023 Wellbeing Survey are expected to be released mid-2024.
