A Review Board hearing will be held on Tuesday 20 November 2012 under the provisions of The Administrative Decisions (Review) (Guernsey) Law, 1986.
COMPLAINANT: Mr R.T. Brooks
DEPARTMENT: Health and Social Services Department
The Review Board will be asked to consider an application under The Administrative Decisions (Review) (Guernsey) Law, 1986, from Mr Richard Brooks, concerning a decision of the Health and Social Services Department with regards to its general policy for funding private medical treatment off-island, which is only applicable if the patient is referred through the accepted procedure for such referrals.
The hearing will take place in the Reading Room, Les Cotils Christian Centre, St Peter Port, on Tuesday 20 November 2012 beginning at 10:00am, and is open to the public and media.

The system of Administrative Decision Review Boards (commonly referred to as Review Boards) was introduced in the late 1980s as a means of allowing individuals to complain about administrative decisions made by States' Departments or Committees and have them reviewed.
