The Chief Minister, Deputy Peter Harwood, has this morning paid tribute to Nelson Mandela following the news that South Africa's former president sadly passed away, aged 94.
Deputy Peter Harwood said:
"Nelson Mandela was a truly great man. He served as an inspiration to all generations across all nations, and was an exemplar of the true meaning of reconciliation."
The Chief Minister has also sent a letter of condolence to South Africa's High Commission.
