Tenders are currently being sought from anyone interested in taking on the concession to run the Castle Cornet Café.
The café caters for the most iconic heritage site in Guernsey during the summer season.
It usually opens seven days a week during normal Castle opening hours, and has both an indoor and outdoor seating area, with views towards Herm and Sark.
The concession agreement would be run in accordance with standard States Property Unit contracts for an initial period of one year.
Helen Glencross, Head of Heritage Services, said:
"The café is a special part of the Castle that serves all of our visitors during the summer season. With both wonderful views, and opportunities to allow visitors to picnic on the grounds with takeaways, it is a key piece of the experience. The menu in the past has been based around hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice creams and light bites, and while we aren't specifically looking for a change, we would be open to ideas for the future and how to improve the service."

Tenders will need to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Tender - Castle Cornet Café", addressed to, States Property Unit, Sir Charles Frossard House, St Peter Port, GY1 1FH to arrive no later than noon on 5 March 2024.
