Tuesday 22 November 2022

The Scrutiny Management Committee (SMC) is holding a public hearing with the Committee for Home Affairs at the Castel Douzaine Room, between 10:00 and 12:00 on Wednesday 30th November 2022.

The Panel will include Deputy Yvonne Burford (Chair), Deputy Simon Fairclough and former States Member Mr Mark Dorey.

This is a formal parliamentary proceeding and therefore members of the public are welcome to attend in an observational capacity, but are not able to ask questions or make any comment whilst the hearing is in progress.

The hearing will also be live streamed on YouTube via https://youtu.be/grHzTn7eSs4

The President of the Scrutiny Management Committee, Deputy Yvonne Burford, commented:

"This hearing with the Committee for Home Affairs will focus principally on the Committee's areas for action identified in the Government Work Plan along with some key areas of its Mandate. I welcome this opportunity to carefully examine progress made to date."
