The Scrutiny Management Committee (SMC) is holding a public hearing with the Committee for Economic Development at the Castel Douzaine Room, between 14:30 and 16:30 hours on Wednesday 13 September 2023.
The SMC Panel will include Deputy Yvonne Burford (Chair), Deputy Simon Fairclough and Deputy John Dyke.
This is a formal parliamentary proceeding and therefore members of the public are welcome to attend in an observational capacity but are not able to ask questions or make any comment whilst the hearing is in progress.
The Scrutiny Management Committee's public hearings are live streamed on the YouTube media platform. 
The President of the Scrutiny Management Committee, Deputy Yvonne Burford, commented:
"This hearing with the Committee for Economic Development will focus principally on progress being made on current issues along with key areas of the Committee's mandate and I welcome this opportunity to carefully examine progress made to date."
 Political Members and Civil Servants will be taking part in the public hearing as witnesses. The images captured will not be processed in order to uniquely identify anyone present.
