Work has continued throughout today to fix problems affecting access to online personal tax returns as a priority. However it is clear that this is a complex fault and is therefore, unfortunately, taking some time to resolve. All of the States' technology partners are engaged in helping to do that as quickly as possible.
Because of these issues, the Revenue Service has postponed the deadline for submitting 2021 returns to the 17 March 2023. This will be kept under review and extended further if needed.
Customers who are experiencing problems are asked not to contact the service at this stage as the team focuses resources on restoring services, and to please keep following the States of Guernsey social media channels and local media for further updates.
Once again, the States of Guernsey is very sorry to customers for this inconvenience and thanks them for their continuing patience.
