The ceremony formed part of The Design in Mental Health Network's 2016 Conference.
On 18 May 2016, at the Design in Mental Health Dinner & Awards, IBI Architects and Health and Social Care received 2 national awards for the Oberlands development:
- Project of the Year
- Collaborative Estates and Facilities Team
The award was received on behalf of Health and Social Care by Colin Vines, the former service manager for Mental Health for the former HSSD, and who played a lead role in managing the design on behalf of the staff and service users for the development
A representative from IBI Architects will be visiting Guernsey on 25 May 2016 with Colin in order that the President of the Committee for Health and Social Care can formally receive the awards.
