The Midwives in Guernsey would like to welcome you, they are here to provide care and guidance while supporting you through your pregnancy, labour/birth and the postnatal period.
Having a baby is a very exciting time, but for some it can be an anxious journey especially if it is your first baby. Your friends and family may well be offering their advice as well as reading information on the internet, in books and magazines it can become overwhelming and hard to know who and what is right.
It has been shown that early contact with a midwife improves outcomes for women and their babies.
