The Bulk Refuse scheme enables you to have up to five bulky household items collected. There is a £30 collection fee plus charges per item which are detailed below.

Collections vary between 4 – 5 weeks from application submission. Please note that you can only submit one application at a time.

This scheme is strictly for household use only. We cannot accept applications from charities, and any applications suspected to be from a business will be refused. Further information for businesses can be found at: www.gov.gg/commercialwaste.

Once your application form has been received by Guernsey Waste, items will be assessed for suitability and the appropriate charge calculated. You will be contacted in writing by email or letter to confirm the total amount due, and once payment is received, you will be allocated to a collection round.

How to pay?

When you receive confirmation of the total amount due, you will also be provided with a confirmation number. You can pay, quoting this number, in person on the Third Floor at Edward T Wheadon House by cash, card or cheque, or by telephoning 223002 to pay by card, or you can send a cheque (payable to States of Guernsey) in the post along with your reference number to Guernsey Waste, La Hure Mare, Vale, GY3 5UD. Please do not send cash in the post.
