Following the announcement that the Princess of Wales is undergoing treatment for cancer, the Chief Minister of Guernsey, Deputy Lyndon Trott, said:
'On behalf of Guernsey, I would like to extend our very best wishes to the Princess of Wales following her announcement that she is undergoing cancer treatment, and to the Prince of Wales, their three children, and all of the Royal Family. This will of course be a very difficult time and I admire the bravery she has shown in her public statement today. I wish her a very speedy recovery.'
