Islanders are reminded that the only way to book either a theory or practical driving test is at traffic.gov.gg after some people have attempted to book through a fake third-party website.
The website claims to be able to book driving theory and practical tests in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, however, having consulted with these jurisdictions, the bookings do not come through to any of the respective island's booking systems.
Colin Le Page, Lead Officer - Traffic and Highway Services, said:
"While we are not aware that significant numbers of people have fallen foul of this website, we are aware that this has impacted some people. Therefore, we want to avoid people wasting their money and facing the disappointment of turning up to a test when no booking has been made. To be absolutely clear, the only way to book driving theory and practical tests is at traffic.gov.gg."
