If you are new or have recently returned to the island, you and your family must register with Social Security. Paying contributions gives you and your family insurance protection and the payments entitle you to claim various benefits.
There are two ways you can register with Social Security:
In Person
- You can download and complete a
RS - New Arrivals/Returning to Guernsey [272kb] and bring it in, or you can collect it directly from Edward T. Wheadon House (level 3).
By Post
- You can download and complete a
- Social Security, Edward T. Wheadon House, Le Truchot, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 3WH.
