The Committee for Education, Sport & Culture is seeking your views on sport and activity in Guernsey, to help deliver a 'Plan for Sport'.
Following a debate last year by the States of Deliberation, it was agreed to develop a 'comprehensive Sports Strategy by July 2019', including outlining the funding needed to implement this strategy.
Since then, this consultation survey has been developed following input from:
- Politicians;
- Sports Commissioners from the Guernsey Sports Commission;
- Staff from the Guernsey Sports Commission;
- Staff from the newly formed Health Improvement Commission;
- Physical Education Association (PEA).
It has also been informed by a number of other national and regional sports strategies, as well as other States of Guernsey strategies and focuses on five key themes:
